Na Koa knock off Stars, improve to 11-3

Jeremy Williams batted 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs and Ray Serrano finished 3-for-5 with two runs as Na Koa Ikaika Maui beat the Hawaii Stars 6-3 in a Pacific Association of Professional Baseball game on Wednesday at Maehara Stadium.

Ray Serrano also homered for Na Koa (11-3).

Mike Williams (2-0) allowed three runs over seven innings with three walks and five strikeouts for Na Koa.

Zach Foster pitched the eighth and Chris Mobley worked the ninth for his first save.

John Holley (0-1) allowed five runs – four earned – over four innings for the Stars (3-11).

Marshall McDonald hit a three-run homer in the first for Hawaii.

The teams will play again today at 5:30 p.m.
