Na Koa rally; Yoshida picks up victory

Eri Yoshida pitched seven solid innings and Na Koa Ikaika Maui scored three runs in both the seventh and eighth innings to beat the Santa Rosa Rose Buds 7-3 on Wednesday at Maehara Stadium.

Yoshida (1-2) allowed five hits, walked two and struck out three. Chris Waters struck out three over two hitless innings for his first save of the season.

Na Koa (14-6) scored the go-ahead run in the seventh on Ray Serrano’s double, which scored Kalaika Kahoohalahala Waylen Sing-Chow drove in three runs, Evan Frazar scored three runs and Jimmy Rohan scored twice for Maui.

Mike Miller (0-1) allowed four runs over 6 1/3 innings for Santa Rosa. Robbie Wright went 2-for-4.
