Na Koa lose to Pacifics

Na Koa Ikaika Maui were held to five hits in a 3-1 loss to the San Rafael Pacifics on Wednesday in a Pacific Association game in San Rafael, Calif.

Logan Odom (4-0) went seven innings for the Pacifics, allowing one run. Colin Allen earned his fifth save of the year, striking out two batters in a perfect ninth. San Rafael’s Johnny Woodard hit a solo home run.

Na Koa’s Jesse Smith (4-1) took the loss, permitting three runs in seven innings.

Two players accounted for all of Maui’s hits – Nick Valdez was 3-for-4, and Brandon Gregorich was 2-for-4 with a double.
