Yoshida takes loss as Na Koa fall to Pacifics

Eri Yoshida allowed four runs in 2 1/3 innings as Na Koa Ikaika Maui lost 5-3 to the San Rafael Pacifics on Saturday in a Pacific Association game at San Rafael, Calif.

Johnny Woodard and Kyle Dhanani each hit solo homers for San Rafael.

The Pacifics’ Bennett Whitmore (1-3) permitted two runs – one earned – in six innings. Colin Allen allowed a run in the ninth but earned his sixth save of the year.

Na Koa’s Ray Serrano was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.

Yoshida fell to 1-3. Josh Larson pitched the rest of the way for Maui.
