Junior golf champions crowned at Kahili

Rosenthal closed with a 2-under-par 70 for a 1-over total of 145, 10 shots better than the runner-up, Tyler Munetake of Wailuku.
Second Photo: Kahului’s Kimberlie Miyamoto (bottom photo), shown at the 18th tee, topped the girls 15-18 division for her second title in an eight-day span. Miyamoto, who on Aug. 4 repeated as the Maui Women’s Invitational champion, closed with a 76 to finish at 154, three shots better than Kirsten Ishikawa of Pukalani. Kristeena Locke of Kahului won the girls 13-14 title and Trevor Arashiro of Honolulu was the boys 13-14 winner. The other girls titles went to Honolulu’s Millburn Ho (11-12) and Haiku’s Summer Malia Wong (7-10), and the other boys winners were A.J. Teraoka (11-12) of Honolulu and Caleb Blaine Chumley (7-10) of Lahaina.
