Na Koa come up short against Grandserows on Japan Tour

Na Koa Ikaika Maui, with Japan native Eri Yoshida on the mound, lost 5-3 to the Shinano Grandserows on Saturday at Nagano, Japan.

Yoshida allowed three runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings. Zach Foster and T.J. Macy also pitched for Na Koa.

Maui’s Jimmy Rohan hit his first home run of the season in the fifth and Ray Serrano belted his 10th – a two-run shot – in the ninth.

Aruto Wada picked up the win for Shinano.

Na Koa will play the Gunma Diamond Pegasus today.
