Bears boys topple Trojans

Ronson Ishikawa rolled a 163, Jaylen Kama-Cabanting had a 153 and Nathan Barcoma finished with a 156 as the Baldwin High School bowling team beat St. Anthony 2-1 in a Maui Interscholastic League match Wednesday at Maui Bowling Center.

The Bears improved to 10-2.

Christian Altura rolled a 155, Daniel Kaikes had a 147 and Michael Fernandez finished with a 144 for the Trojans (6-6).

Baldwin won the girls match 3-0 over St. Anthony by forfeit. Kyra Watanabe rolled a 151, Chaniya Silva had a 150 and Alexa Nagai finished with a 146 for the Bears (12-0). The Trojans fell to 3-9.

The Kamehameha Maui boys and girls teams beat King Kekaulike.

The Warriors’ boys won 3-0. Lukela Kanae had a 169 and Justin Fernandez rolled a 143 for Kamehameha Maui (8-4).

Shane Quillayen rolled a 191 for Na Alii (0-12).

The Warriors won the girls match 2-1. Kasie Apo-Takayama rolled a 117 and Jaclyn Gorman had a 116 for Kamehameha Maui (8-4).

King Kekaulike fell to 1-11.
