Hawaii sweeps UC Riverside, goes to 13-1
Emily Hartong had 12 kills and the University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team hit .436 in a sweep of UC Riverside on Sunday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
The match scores were 25-7, 25-13 and 25-15.
The Rainbow Wahine’s Kalei Adolpho, a Molokai High School alumnus, had four kills. Teammate Ginger Long, a Kamehameha Maui graduate, had two kills and one dig.
Hawaii, ranked No. 6 by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, is 13-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big West. UC Riverside is 1-12 and 0-1.
