King Kekaulike forges tie in Division I

King Kekaulike High School entered a tie for first place in the Maui Interscholastic League girls volleyball Division I standings after a 25-22, 25-22, 25-23 win over Baldwin on Friday in Wailuku.

Kawehi Mahoney had eight kills for Na Alii (5-1), who pulled even with Kamehameha Maui – the Warriors’ lone defeat this season is to King Kekaulike.

Na Alii’s Brennalye Rodrigues had four kills, three digs and two blocks. Brandy Feliciano-Benton had nine digs and an ace, and Dasya Tavares added three blocks and two kills.

Vatu Masi had seven kills for the Bears (1-5), and Shaye Clemente had six. Kamakani Dudoit had 16 assists and three aces, Milan Yasso had eight digs, Jaylina Sadang had three kills and five digs and Kawena Cravalho had three kills and two aces and a block.

At Lanai City, the Spartans (4-0) remained unbeaten with a 25-8, 25-16, 25-14 victory over the Pine Lasses (0-5).
