Tyler Munetake won the boys 15-18 title in the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association Match Play Championships on Sunday at the Kaanapali Kai Course, defeating Baldwin High School teammate Ariel Elftman-Hanson 6 and 5 in the final.

In the boys 13-14 final, Oahu’s Remington Hirano defeated Wai-luku’s Justin Arcano 2 up. Arcano beat Taylor John McGerity of Oahu 1 up in the semifinals, while Hirano was a 4-and-3 winner over Wailuku’s John Kaylan Dumo.

Malia Nam took the girls 13-18 title with a 2-and-1 win over Kaci Masuda in an all-Oahu final. Nam had advanced by defeating Alanis Sakuma of Oahu 4 and 3, and Masuda had won 3 and 2 over Oahu’s Keilyn Ing.

The consolation champions were Wailuku’s Jasmine Cabajar (girls 13-18) and Nathaniel Idica (boys 13-14) and Oahu’s Caleb Keohokapu (boys 15-18).
