Spartans claim eight-player contest 32-20

Jaxson Stinger threw two touchdown passes to Rip Pahukoa, both in the third quarter, as the Seabury Hall eight-player football team rallied for 32-20 victory over Ka’u on Friday in a nonleague game on the Big Island.

The Spartans, who last year won the first official Maui Interscholastic League title in the sport, trailed 13-10 at halftime.

Carter Christie ran for a third-quarter touchdown for the Spartans.

Cayde Omura ran for a score in the first quarter.
