Omura, Stinger help Seabury win eight-player game
Cayde Omura scored three touchdowns and Jaxson Stinger also accounted for three scores as the Seabury Hall eight-player football team defeated Hana 43-19 on Thursday in a Maui Interscholastic League game at War Memorial Stadium.
Omura ran 10 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns for the Spartans (4-0), and also scored on a 78-yard kickoff return. Omura added three receptions for 71 yards.
Stinger completed 14 of 21 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for a score.
Rip Pahukoa had seven catches and two touchdowns for Seabury, which has won all 10 of its games since the sport became official in the MIL.
The Spartans’ Travis Mrantz picked off two passes, and Mogul Luuwai finished with 12 tackles.
The Dragons fell to 1-3.
