Saturday-The 13th annual Habitat for Humanity Maui Golf Extravaganza tournament is scheduled for Saturday at Kahili Golf Course in Wailuku, with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee for the four-person scramble is $175 per person, which also pays for breakfast, a party after the event and eligibility for prizes, including a car and a motorcycle for hole-in-one contests. Nov. 9-10-The Maui Aloha Golf Classic is scheduled for Nov. 9-10 at the Kaanapali Kai Course and Kihei’s Elleair Maui Golf Club. Saturday-The 24th annual Day of Hope 10K Run / 5K Walk, a fundraiser for Maui’s Pacific Cancer Foundation, is scheduled for 7 a.m. on Saturday in Wailea and Makena. Runners can register as individuals, or as five-person “centipede” 5K running or walking teams – team members will be linked together, and costumes are encouraged.
