Champs on parade
FIRST PHOTO: Shane Victorino holds the Commissioner’s Trophy for the World Series champion while aboard a “duck boat” during Saturday’s parade in Boston for the Red Sox, who won the title for the third time in 10 years with a 6-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6 on Wednesday. Victorino, a St. Anthony High School graduate, drove in four runs during the clincher.
SECOND PHOTO: Victorino displays the trophy to some of the fans along the route that began at Fenway Park, took the team into the Charles River and included a stop at the Boston Marathon finish line, near where two explosions killed three spectators at the race on April 15.
