Hartong tallies 21 kills in four-set victory over 49ers
Emily Hartong had 21 kills and Mita Uiato had 47 assists as the University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team beat Long Beach State in four sets on Saturday at the Stan Sheriff?Center in Honolulu.
The scores were 25-27, 25-19, 25-18, 25-22.
Kalei Adolpho, a Molokai High School alumnus, finished with seven kills, six blocks and one dig for the Rainbow Wahine (18-4, 7-3), ranked 13th by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Ginger Long, a Kamehameha Maui graduate, appeared in one set.
Delainey Aigner-Swesey finished with 15 kills for the 49ers (12-10, 5-4), and Alex Reid had 12.
