UH sweeps UC Davis, extends winning streak to five

The University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team won its fifth consecutive match Friday, getting 15 kills from Emily Hartong in a 25-19, 25-17, 25-19 sweep of UC Davis at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Nikki Taylor added 11 kills for UH (21-4, 10-3 Big West), ranked 12th in the nation by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, and Molokai High School graduate Kalei Adolpho had eight.

The Rainbow Wahine finished with a .330 hitting percentage.

Devon Damelio recorded 13 kills for the Aggies (13-15, 6-9).

Hawaii will play its final regular-season home match today against Cal State Northridge.
