Williams scores twice as Warriors blank Bears

Quinn Williams scored two goals and Lily Higashino added another two as the Kamehameha Schools Maui girls soccer team beat Baldwin 4-0 in a Maui Interscholastic League match Saturday at the Warriors’ field in Pukalani.

The Warriors (2-0-0) scored all their goals in the first half.

The Bears were playing their season opener.

Lahainaluna girls 4, Seabury Hall 1

At Lahaina, Jessica Miske scored three goals as Lahainaluna earned its first win of the season.

The Lunas (1-2-0) got their final goal on an own goal, when a shot by Maile Altier deflected in off a defender.

Kate Peterson scored for Seabury Hall (0-2-0).

Kamehameha Maui boys 4, Lahainaluna 0

At Lahaina, four players scored for Kamehameha Maui, all in the first half.

Joaquin provided the first goal for the Warriors (1-0-1), with an assist from Micah Alo, and assisted on a score by Jake Mateaki. Colton Cabanas’ goal was assisted by Chandler Alo, and Kailoa Akoi capped the scoring.

The Lunas fell to 0-2-0.
