Kamehameha Maui clinches league crown
Kaitlin Barcoma scored three goals as the Kamehameha Schools Maui girls soccer team clinched a second consecutive Maui Interscholastic League Division I championship with an 8-1 victory over Seabury Hall on Thursday at Kanaiau-puni Stadium in Pukalani.
Sarah Noelani Reyes, Lily Higashino, Kiana-Lei Chang, Marley Duncan and Hayden Takahashi also scored for the Warriors (11-0-0), who can finish off a perfect regular season with a win over Maui High on Tuesday.
Kamehameha will get a bye in the state tournament, scheduled for Feb. 5-8 on Oahu.
Phoebe Fickbohm scored for the Spartans (1-9-0).
King Kekaulike girls 4, St. Anthony 0
At Wailuku, Nikki Musto had two goals and two assists for King Kekaulike.
Musto scored the first goal of the match, off an assist by Darian Fernandez, and had the final goal as Na Alii finished its year 6-6-0. Musto also assisted on scores by Mahina Ashdown-Deponte and Grace Maeda.
St. Anthony fell to 0-8-0.
