King Kekaulike boys topple Maui High 8-0; go to 6-1-1
The King Kekaulike High School boys soccer team moved within one point of the lead in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I standings with an 8-0 win over Maui High at King Kekaulike Stadium on Tuesday night.
Jacob Stenger, Jonathan Dahilig, Micah Tateishi, Lionel Mills, Jake Jacobs, Aleczander Taylor, Reece Ibara and Michael Kleeman each scored once for Na Alii (6-1-1), which is one point behind Baldwin (6-0-2) and one point in front of defending MIL champion Kamehameha Maui (5-0-3).
Maui High fell to 1-7-0.
Baldwin girls 8, Seabury Hall 0
At Wailuku, the Bears improved to 7-3-0, while the Spartans fell to 1-8-0.
Baldwin’s goal scorers were not reported.
Kamehameha Maui girls 2, St. Anthony 0
At Pukalani, Sarah Noelani Reyes and Marley Duncan scored for the Warriors (10-0-0) in a match halted in the first half because of rainy conditions.
The Trojans fell to 0-7-0.
