Miske scores twice as Lunas defeat Trojans

The Lahainaluna High School girls soccer team entered a tie for fourth place in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I standings with a 4-0 victory over St. Anthony on Thursday night at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku.

Jessica Miske scored a pair of goals for the Lunas (3-5-0), who are tied with Baldwin, but have played two more games. Maya Ryan and Luz Valdez-Vega each scored once.

The Trojans fell to 0-6-0.

Lahainaluna’s next game is Saturday at the Lahaina Youth Center against Kamehameha Maui, which has won all eight of its league games this season.

St. Anthony’s game against Maui High scheduled for Saturday has been postponed, the league said Thursday. The Trojans’ next game is Tuesday at Kamehameha.
