Rainbow Wahine win fourth consecutive game

The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team won its fourth consecutive game Saturday, with five players scoring in double figures in an 85-59 victory over UC Irvine at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Shawna-Lei Kuehu scored 18 points for the Rainbow Wahine (10-7, 4-1 Big West). Kamilah Jackson, Destiny King and Ashleigh Karaitiana each had 12, and Pua Kailiawa added 11. Kalei Adolpho, a Molokai High School graduate, had two points and two rebounds for UH.

Camille Buckley scored 19 points for the Anteaters (9-10, 2-3), and Jennifer Tsurumoto added 16.

Hawaii will play at Long Beach State on Thursday.
