Villon’s late 3-pointer lifts Sabers
Brandon Villon hit a go-ahead 3-pointer from the right wing with two seconds remaining as the Maui High School boys basketball team beat King Kekaulike 44-42 in a Maui Interscholastic League game Wednesday at the Sabers’ gym.
Kainalu Rundle scored 12 points and Tristan Nichols added 10 for the Sabers (3-1). Villon finished with eight.
Elijah Engoring scored 13 points and Chase Iwata-Bartel-me had 10 for Na Alii (2-2).
