Bears seeded third in D-I state tournament
Baldwin High School received the No. 3 seed in the Hawaiian Airlines Division I Boys Basketball State Championship bracket announced Sunday.
The Bears will play with a quarterfinal game Thursday at the Radford gym on Oahu against the winner of Wednesday’s game between Maryknoll, last year’s state runner-up, and Moanalua.
Lahainaluna will play defending champion Kalaheo in a first-round game Wednesday at McKinley, and the winner will advance to a Thursday matchup with top-seeded Iolani.
Farrington got the No. 2 seed, and Konawaena is seeded fourth.
The Division II bracket will be released today.
