Kamehameha completes unbeaten MIL season

Karl Teshima and Brennan Joaquin each scored two goals as the Kamehameha Schools Maui boys soccer team completed an undefeated Maui Interscholastic League season with a 5-0 victory over Seabury Hall on Saturday in Olinda.

The Warriors (9-0-3), who finished second in the MIL Division I standings and will play in the state tournament, led 1-0 at halftime – Joaquin scored in the fifth minute. Joaquin doubled the lead with a goal in the 56th, and assisted on Teshima’s goal in the 68th.

Chandler Alo scored in the 60th minute, and Teshima in the 64th, off an assist by Bryson Duarte.

The Spartans (5-6-1) had already secured the MIL D-II championship.
