Lahainaluna girls topple Seabury Hall, move to 3-0

The Lahainaluna High School girls golf team extended its unbeaten start to the Maui Interscholastic League season with a 123-151 victory over Seabury Hall on Tuesday at the Kapalua Bay Course.

Caitlyn Villatora had a 39 for the Lunas (3-0), Caylyn Villatora shot 40 and Ennah Cabading and Jennifer Mentz each recorded rounds of 44.

Natasha Salamack carded a 45 for the Spartans (0-3), and Jimsie Stisher recorded a 50, while Joy Balinbin and Jessica Brown each shot 56.

At The Dunes at Maui Lani in Kahului, Jasmine Cabajar carded a 38 as Maui High (4-1) took over sole possession of second place.

Anna Apana recorded a 43 for the Sabers, and Taylor Akamine a 45. Dayna Yoshimura had a 56, and Dayna Cadiz a 59.

Nicole Nagamine’s 40 was the low score for Kamehameha Maui (0-5), who got a 42 from Kodi Joyo, a 54 from Shaina Hipolito and a 55 from Kalena Tamashiro.
