Kamehameha edges Seabury

The Kamehameha Schools Maui boys golf team narrowly maintained its perfect Maui Interscholastic League record on Friday, defeating Seabury Hall 183-188 at The Dunes at Maui Lani in Kahului.

Lucas Park had a 35 for the Warriors (8-0), Jacob Pu’u and Kainalu Steward each had rounds of 49 and Mitchel Dutro carded a 50. Kalei Stanich had a 49 as an alternate, Cade Harris shot 52 and Zack Fasi had a 73.

Aron Graziano was the low scorer for the Spartans (1-6-1) with a 39. Dawud Moragne (44), Nate Thomas (51) and Max Hurd (54) were the team’s other scorers. Seabury alternate Ryan James shot 53, and Justin Medeiros had a 77.


At the Kaanapali Kai Course, Rhett Wiseman had a 38 and Lance Ito a 39 as Lahainaluna (8-0) remained tied for first place.

Kerek Franz and Lucas Bell each had rounds of 40 for the Lunas, Tristan Villa shot 43 and Antonio Bak had a 69.

The scorers for Maui High (1-7) were Dylan Manibog (42), Chase Baker (57), Maynard Guillermo (62) and Wesley Sakatori (71). Colton Rishord shot 74.


At Kahili Golf Course in Waikapu, Baldwin got a 35 from Ariel Elftman-Hanson and improved to 6-0.

Tyler Munetake had a 40 for the Bears, while John Dumo, Justin Ngan and Justin Arcano all shot 41. Nathaniel Idica had a 44, Keanu Chang a 47 and Sean Endo a 55.

Jordan Beesly carded a 61 for King Kekaulike (0-8). Austin Ferriera had a 69, Ian Manibog a 71 and Michael Kleeman an 80.
