Kamehameha Maui, Baldwin split in tennis
The Kamehameha Schools Maui girls tennis team won all three singles matches in a 3-2 victory over Baldwin on Thursday at the Warriors’ courts.
Kylee Kato beat Jessica Pressman 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Sarah Ikioka defeated Malorie Murakami 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2 and Julie-Anne Ohashi-Sides toppled Molly Murai 6-7 (1), 7-6 (2), 6-4 at No. 3.
The Warriors are 3-0, while the Bears fell to 2-1.
Baldwin won the boys match 3-1.
The Bears’ Bud Kaiwi and Riley Caldwell both swept singles matches.
The Bears are 3-1, while the Warriors fell to 0-3.
