Lunas beat Spartans in five sets

The Lahainaluna High School boys volleyball team entered a three-way tie for third place in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I standings by beating Seabury Hall 25-14, 25-18, 22-25, 19-25, 15-11 on Thursday in Lahaina.

Cyrus Kama had nine kills, 10 blocks and two aces for the Lunas (2-2), who pulled even with Bald-win and Maui High, a half-game out of first place.

Lahainaluna’s Kia Ken-olio had 13 kills, and Ansen Cabanilla had 12 digs and 32 assists.

The Spartans fell to 2-3.
