Maui High alone at top after victory over Seabury Hall
Kristeena Locke shot 40 as the Maui High School girls golf team beat Seabury Hall 130-164 on Thursday at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course and took sole possession of first place in the Maui Interscholastic League standings.
Taylor Akamine had a 44 and Anna Apana a 46 for the Sabers (9-2-1), who moved two points ahead of Baldwin, which was idle. Jasmine Cabajar had a 38 as an alternate, and Courtney Cadiz shot 57.
Natasha Salamack carded a 49 for the Spartans (0-10-0), Jimmsie Stisher shot 52 and Tiffany Orite had a 63. Joy Balinbin posted a 65.
