Hana sweeps Lanai, remains undefeated

The Hana High School boys volleyball team defeated Lanai 25-13, 25-18, 25-13 on Friday in Hana, improving to 9-0 in the Maui Interscholastic League this season.

Hunter Perry had 13 kills, 15 assists and two aces for the Dragons, who had already clinched the MIL Division II regular-season championship. Jordan Redo-Rost added 21 assists, four kills and two aces for Hana, and Noah Hoopai-Feliciano recorded nine kills and three blocks.

Joshua Bailey-Belista had eight kills for the Pine Lads (3-6), Ryan Amby added six and Ezekiel Bolo had five.


At Olinda, Ian Roth had 18 kills as Seabury Hall rallied for an 18-25, 15-25, 25-11, 27-25, 17-15 victory.

Makena Jost had 13 kills and five blocks for the Spartans (5-4), and Tristan Hooper also had 13 kills. Justin Ringsby had nine kills, Jordan Haylor had seven blocks, Nyck Yashiro had 43 assists and John Johnson had four aces.

Molokai dropped to 0-10.
