Maui High extends lead

Kristeena Locke had a round of 37 on Thursday as the Maui High School girls golf team extended its lead in the Maui Interscholastic League standings with a 125-143 win over Kamehameha Maui at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course.

Taylor Akamine shot 41 for the Sabers (11-2-1), Jasmine Cabajar had a 47 and Anna Apana carded a 48.

The scorers for the Warriors (2-11) were Nicole Nagamine (42) Shaina Hipolito (50) and Kodi Joyo (51).


Lahainaluna girls 142, Seabury Hall 161

At Kahili Golf Course, Caitlyn and Caylyn Villatora each shot 39 for Lahainaluna (8-3), and Ennah Cabading had a 64.

Jimmsie Stisher’s 49 was the low score for Seabury Hall (0-12). Natasha Salamack had a 51, and Tiffany Orite a 61.
