Warriors top Na Alii in nine

Cody Fushikoshi-Wago’s bases-loaded single in the top of the ninth inning drove in two runs, and Kamehameha Schools Maui went on to beat King Kekaulike 3-2 on Monday in a Maui Interscholastic League baseball game at Maehara Stadium in Wailuku.

Brennon Aloy had two hits for the Warriors (4-2).

Kamehameha starter Maile Santiago permitted one run in six innings, and Kaimi Gilli-land went the rest of the way.

Beanie Howden had two hits for King Kekaulike (1-4). Stone Hashizaki, who gave up the two runs in the top of the ninth, had an RBI single in the bottom of the inning.

Baldwin 12, Lahainaluna 1, 5 innings

At Wailuku, Linden Kanamu and Kawena Alo-Kaonohi combined on a three-hitter for Baldwin (3-0).

Shadd Santos hit a bases-loaded triple for the Bears in a nine-run second inning. Maka-na Victorine was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

The Lunas fell to 1-5.
