Fourth-seeded Baldwin to face Mililani in first round of state football
Baldwin High School received the No. 4 seed in the First Hawaiian Bank Division I State Football Championship bracket released Monday, and will face Mililani at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku on Nov. 4 in a first-round game.
The winner of that game will play in the semifinals on Nov. 12 against Leilehua or top-seeded Hilo at a site to be determined.
The title game is scheduled for Nov. 18 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
Campbell received the No. 2 seed, and Iolani was seeded third.
The Bears, who went 8-0 in Maui Interscholastic League play this year, are in the state tournament for the 11th time in the last 12 seasons.
The Division II state bracket, which will include Lahainaluna, has not yet been released.
