Tennessee vs. Oregon

8:30 a.m. • ESPN2

What’s up? Tennessee doesn’t want

a second straight Maui trip to start with back-to-back losses — the Vols were seventh in 2011. Oregon hopes not to be the first current Pac-12 team in the seventh-place game since Colorado in 2009. Tennessee won the teams’ only meeting so far, in Portland in 1964.

Connecticut vs. Chaminade

10:30 a.m. • ESPN2

What’s up? Connecticut will be trying to avoid its first two-loss trip to Maui and remain in position to leave the island with 10 all-time wins in the event. Chaminade has dropped 12 straight games in the tournament. The Huskies beat the Silverswords  in a consolation semifinal in 2010.

Wisconsin vs. Georgetown

3 p.m. • ESPN2

What’s up? The teams, 2-2 against each other overall, meet in November for a third straight year. Georgetown won last season at Madison Square Garden after Wisconsin’s victory in the Bahamas in 2014. The Hoyas’ Bradley Hayes can play after having to wait four games to be eligible this season.

Oklahoma St. vs. North Carolina

5:30 p.m. • ESPN

What’s up? Plenty of points are possible. Oklahoma State is averaging 104.8 per game, and North Carolina is at 94.4. A higher-scoring game than the teams’ only other meeting is almost a guarantee — the Cowboys won 43-40 in the 1946 NCAA title game in New York.
