UH defeats New Mexico State to even record

Leah Salanoa scored 13 points, Briana Harris had 12 and Makenna Woodfolk added 11 to go with 10 rebounds as the University of Hawaii women’s basketball team beat New Mexico State 56-53 in a Rainbow Wahine Classic game Sunday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Lahainaluna High School graduate Keleah-Aiko Koloi went scoreless but had seven rebounds for UH (2-2).

Tamera William scored 11 points for the Aggies (2-2).

Hawaii will play San Jose State on Friday in the Rainbow Wahine Showdown.
