Torres scores four goals in Lunas’ victory

Kyanna Torres netted four goals to lead the Lahainaluna High School girls soccer team to a 7-1 victory over St. Anthony on Tuesday at Sue Cooley Stadium in Lahaina.

Torres scored three of her goals in the first half. Mihana Ho also scored to make it 4-0 at halftime.

Maygan Patch had two second-half goals for the Lunas, who improved to 2-7-0 in Maui Interscholastic League play.

Hannah Uehara scored for the Trojans (0-8-0). With St. Anthony’s loss, Seabury Hall (3-4-1) clinched the MIL Division II championship and a state tournament berth.

At Lahaina, Ramon Cedillo had two goals as 11 Lunas scored in improving to 5-1-1.

Marcos Lopez, Roberto Cardenas, Radon Sinenci, Kyle Shultz, David Sanchez, Jesus Alvarez, Pablo Rico, Taylor Salmon, Fernando Cedillo and Bryan Murillo Solis also scored for Lahainaluna.

The Trojans fell to 0-7-0.
