Lotulelei signs with Cowboys

John Lotulelei has been signed to the Dallas Cowboys’ reserve/future list, the team announced Tuesday.
Lotulelei, a graduate of Baldwin High School, did not play this NFL season after being waived by the Oakland Raiders as the team made its final cuts in early September. The 25-year-old linebacker out of UNLV played in all four of Oakland’s preseason games, recording three tackles.
Lotulelei played in four games with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year and has appeared in 18 games overall in two NFL seasons, with 12 tackles — he was with the Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks in 2013.
Players on the reserve/future list are not on the current 53-player roster and are not eligible to participate in the upcoming playoffs, but are added when the roster expands to 90 players in the offseason.
