Warriors move into second place

Ilihia Keawekane scored the game’s only goal as Kamehameha Schools Maui moved into second place in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I girls soccer standings by defeating King Kekaulike 1-0 on Saturday at Kanaiaupuni Stadium in Pukalani.
Keawekane scored for the Warriors (6-3-1) in the first half.
Na Alii (5-2-3) had won their previous two matches.

At Pukalani, the Warriors scored three second-half goals to rally past Na Alii.
Collin Miller scored in the first half to give King Kekaulike (6-2-0) the early lead. Paytin Ayau knocked in the equalizer early in the second half, and Aikala Chappell put Kamehameha Maui ahead with his goal. Quinn Hottendorf added a goal late in the game to seal the win for the Warriors (4-3-1).
