Rainbow Wahine down Titans for second straight road win

The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team got its second straight road victory on Saturday night, picking up a 55-45 win over Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, Calif.

Senior Briana Harris led the Rainbow Wahine (10-17, 6-9 Big West) with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range — she also had seven rebounds. Sarah Toeaina finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Olivia Crawford added 11 points.

Hawaii hit nine 3-pointers in the game and held the Titans (4-23, 1-13) to 12-of-45 (26.7 percent) from the field and 3-of-15 (20 percent) from 3-point range.

Lahainaluna High School graduate Keleah-Aiko Koloi played four minutes, took one shot and did not score for Hawaii.

Daeja Smith scored 16 points to lead the Titans.

UH returns home for its regular-season finale against Long Beach State on Saturday.
