Buenrostro-Gallimore’s seven goals lead Bears past Spartans

Led by Rebecca Buenrostro-Gallimore’s seven goals, the Baldwin High School water polo team defeated Seabury Hall 13-7 in a Maui Interscholastic League match Saturday at the Kamehameha Maui pool in Pukalani, improving to 6-0 this season.
Kayla Takakura added two goals for the Bears, who stayed a half-game in front of three-time defending league champion Lahainaluna.
Eden Boorman, Jessica Baker, Audrey Reiss and Jacsen Donohue scored Baldwin’s other goals.
Skylar Lickle scored four times for the Spartans (2-5). Sydney Walker, Abby Drood and Lily Pickering each had one goal.
LAHAINALUNA 12, KAMEHAMEHA MAUI 8
At Pukalani, Lahainaluna won for the second time in three days.
Julia Bianco scored four goals for the Lunas (6-1), who had returned from their spring break by defeating King Kekaulike on Thursday.
Nikki Zamani, Kyra Franz and Dakota Delos Reyes each scored twice for Lahainaluna on Saturday. Lara Claydon and Eva Olson added a goal apiece.
The Warriors, who fell to 2-5, got five goals from Tiyanni Mahi. Selafina Ngalu, Nikki McGuire and Quinn Shiraishi each had one.
