Snyder to teach at clinic

Olympic wrestling gold medalist Kyle Snyder will offer instruction at a Maui Style clinic scheduled for 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at War Memorial Gym in Wailuku.

The clinic is free to any wrestler with a USA Wrest-ling card.

Snyder, a senior-to-be at Ohio State, became the youngest Olympic wrestling champion in U.S. history when he won the gold at 97 kilograms last year in Rio de Janeiro at age 20.

In 2005, he became the youngest world champion in U.S. wrestling history.

Snyder won his second NCAA title at 285 pounds in March, and went 179-0 in high school at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney, Md.
