Na Alii open MIL season with victories over Sabers

The King Kekaulike High School boys and girls bowling teams picked up season-opening wins over Maui High on Saturday at Maui Bowling Center in Wailuku.

Dillon Ikeda bowled a 171 to lead the Na Alii boys to a 3-0 victory over the Sabers. Trevor Onaga had a 156 and Ryan Siarot added a 138.

John Pires led Maui High with a 121.

Na Alii girls got high games from Jennea Nagura (137), Kiley Kochi (125-124) and Adriana Araneta (120) in a 3-0 win over the Sabers.

Schuyer Barcoma-Suyat bowled a pair of 103s and Anna Barcoma-Suyat also had a 103 for Maui High.

Victoria Leong had a 128, and Alyssa Riglos and Zyara Kaohu each had a 125 as the Baldwin girls defeated Kihei Charter 3-0 in the Maui Interscholastic League opener for both teams.

The Tiger Sharks got a 110 from Victoria Fonville and 96 from Olivia Augustine.
