OLINDA — The long road of recovery is behind Seabury Hall’s Erica Pilotin.

The senior team captain, one year removed from reconstructive knee surgery after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament, recorded nine kills and five digs Friday to help lead the Spartans to a 25-21, 25-19, 25-19 victory over Molokai in a matchup of unbeaten Maui Interscholastic League girls volleyball teams at Erdman Athletic Center.

“I think tonight we worked really well as a team,” Pilotin said after the Spartans improved to 4-0. “I think this was our best game yet. We really kept our intensity up and when we had the lead we worked really hard to keep it.”

The Farmers fell to 4-1.

Seabury’s Isabel Bennett had a team-high 13 kills and Sevilla Leuteneker and Ella Connor each had eight. Kiana Hyman finished with 32 assists.
