The Maui News – Maui-based Team Bradley won a second consecutive Na Wahine O Ke Kai title and 10th overall Sunday, completing the approximately 41-mile course from Molokai’s Hale O Lono Harbor to Waikiki in 5 hours, 55 minutes, 22 seconds.

The crew of Andrea Moller, Lauren Spalding, Kealani Bartlett, Kristen Foster, Alana Frazier, Claire Townsend, Lori Nakamura, Mahealani Botelho, Kaulu Luuwai and Cherisse Agorastos finished 5:19 ahead of the runner-up, Australia’s Outrigger Canoe Club. Oahu’s Outrigger Canoe Club was another 10 seconds back in third place.

Team Bradley won six straight times from 2005 to 2010, as well as in 2012 and 2013.

Maui’s Team Moana was seventh in the open division and eighth overall in 6:20:43.

Hawaiian Canoe Club White was 13th in the open division and 20th overall in 6:40:34, and Hawaiian Blue finished two seconds behind.

Na Kai Ewalu was 16th in the open division and 25th overall in 6:47:42.

Lae’ula O Kai Green was third in the 50-and-over division in 6:58:10. Oahu’s Lanikai crew was the division winner with a time of 6:40:28, and California’s Pacific Aunties finished second in 6:43:33.

Lae’ula O Kai Red (7:00:53) was 37th overall and 22nd in the open, one spot ahead in each division of Napili Canoe Club (7:00:55).
