Baldwin moves within half-game of second place
The Maui News – Baldwin High School drew within a half-game of second place in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I girls volleyball standings Tuesday with a 25-15, 23-25, 16-25, 20-25 win over Maui High at the Sabers’ gym in Kahului.
Alisa Kuehu had 16 kills, 12 assists and five digs for the Bears (5-6). Siena DeCambra had 12 kills, 16 assists and four aces, and Bernice Salcido finished with seven digs, two assists and an ace.
The Sabers are now 2-9.

At Paia, Cassidy Otto had 12 kills and Rebecca Geng had nine aces as Maui Prep won 25-22, 25-4, 25-14.
Danielle Bergson had six aces for Na Pueo (3-7).
Haleakala Waldorf dropped to 1-8.
