King Kekaulike to play varsity game against Maui High

King Kekaulike High School athletic director P.K. Higa said in a text message on Tuesday that the varsity football game between Na Alii and Maui High scheduled for Friday will be played as scheduled at 7 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium.

Higa added that the junior varsity game will not be played.

King Kekaulike forfeited its game Saturday against Kamehameha Maui. At that time, Higa said the school would re-evaluate playing this week’s game.

Maui High is 3-3 in the Maui Interscholastic League, 1-1 in the second round, and will finish the regular season against Baldwin next week. King Kekaulike is 0-7 and Friday is its final game of the season.
