Spartans sweep Pine Lasses to stay undefeated

MIL VOLLEYBALL

Erica Pilotin recorded 10 kills and Sevilla Leuteneker had seven aces as the Seabury Hall girls volleyball team remained unbeaten in Maui Interscholastic League play this season by sweeping Lanai 25-8, 25-4, 25-16 on Friday in Lanai City.

Ella Connor had six aces and three kills for the Spartans (10-0), and Isabel Bennett had eight kills and four digs. Kiana Hyman finished with 12 assists.

Raquel Leobeuf Malacas had three kills for the Pine Lasses (3-5). Leah Vidad had six digs, and Geraldine Olomua had four.

At Hoolehua, Sehja Pedro and Shaelyn McCutcheon each had 12 kills for Molokai in a 25-17, 25-15, 25-15 win.

Shai Rawlins had six kills for the Farmers (7-4), Mary Grace Ringor had 23 assists and Taye Mowat and Jaide Kiaha each had three aces.

Kawena Barona had three blocks for St. Anthony (2-8).
