Kamehameha Schools Maui (first photo) attempts a first-set kill against the block of Seabury Hall’s Kiana Hyman (right) and Ella Connor during the teams’ exhibition match Wednesday night at Erdman Athletic Center in Olinda. Proceeds from the match will benefit the Dig Pink Side Out Foundation, which promotes cancer research. The Division I Warriors, who went 12-0 in the Maui Interscholastic League regular season, defeated the Spartans — 11-0 in MIL Division II play — 25-16, 25-20, 25-21. Kamehameha Maui’s Tatiana Martinez (second photo) goes up to defend a shot by Connor, who finished with five kills, four digs and an ace. Isabel Bennett had 11 kills and six digs, and Erica Pilotin added eight kills, six digs and two aces for the Spartans. Fans (third photo) cheer during the second set.
