The pro men’s and women’s divisions returned to action Saturday in the Aloha Classic, with Bernd Roediger of Kahului posting the day’s top score in the International Windsurfing Tour event at Hookipa Beach Park in Kuau.

Roediger had a score of 15.04 to win his men’s first-round heat, earning a bye past the second round and into the final 32.

Tour leader Morgan Noireaux won his heat with as 14.17. Eight-time world champion Kevin Prit­chard took first place in his heat.

Serena Zoia of Italy won her women’s second-round heat with a 9.60.

The holding period for the contest, which also will crown amateur, youth, master and grand master champions, runs through Nov. 12.
