A lay day was called for a fourth consecutive day at the World Surf League Maui Women’s Pro, with organizers looking to today for a possible start to competition at Honolua Bay.
“There are some waves here again this morning but it’s still not what we’re looking for so we are off for the day,” WSL deputy commissioner Jessi Miley-Dyer said Tuesday. “I’m really looking at tomorrow and a significant swell that could offer some great waves so we’ll be back early in the morning.”
The next call will be made at 7:10 a.m. today. The event’s holding period runs through Dec. 6.
